XC#3 is less than a week away! Here is the lowdown.
GENERAL INFO:
Our races are getting bigger and bigger! Let’s see if we can crack 150 participants! After this weekend’s OZZY 8, we are straight into XC#3 on Wednesday July 28. We have an awesome course cooked up for you with a bit of everything. Mass start by category as usual, starting at Kinsmen Park.
COVID UPDATE:
Now that we are into Phase 3, masks are no longer required outdoors. So now we can see your grimace on the trail and your smile on the podium. 2 metre distancing is still required at all times so we will continue to use a grid of cones for the pre-race talk as well as the start.

On-site registration comes with a $10 penalty and closes at 6:30PM. We will have LIVE timing at www.webscorer.com

Sport/Advanced/Elite all have prologue loops, followed by 1, 2, or 3 laps (see description in trailforks)
Take note of direction of travel and junctions where your course is different from the others.
Courses will be flagged and signed on Tuesday evening.

SCHEDULE:
5:45-6:45 – Plate pick up (if needed) and racer check-in. You are required to check-in even if you have a number plate already (at Kinsmen Park – in the lower field). *Advanced riders that got an orange plate last race should swap it in for a new red plate.
6:20 – Optional Lambateur pre-ride
6:50 – Mandatory race briefing – all riders
7:00 – START. We will announce exact start order on race day.
OTHER:
We need a few volunteers to make this event happen. A couple course marshals and a couple at the start/finish area. Please email racing@blacksheepmtb.com if you can help or let us know at the registration desk on race day.
