This Wednesday, July 24 is our 3-stage Enduro Race Event! It’s just our second time hosting this type of format – last year was a learning experience, so we’ve adjusted some of the logistics, and hope this year will be even more enjoyable! Be sure to read the instructions, so you’re ready to go come Wednesday evening.

Enduro Race 5 – Instructions
Starting at Kinsmen Park (Trowbridge)
Schedule of Events:
6:00pm – Number pick-up opens
7:00pm – Enduro Race 5 Start as we all ride from Trowbridge to the start line of Stage 1
If you don’t know how Enduro works, it’s a fun, sociable way to race. Only the 3 downhill stages are timed. The ascents are a slightly more leisurely ride to the start line of the next stage. Your final time is the sum of your 3 descents. So we will all leave Trowbridge together at 7:00 pm to head up Blue Trail to the start area for Stages 1 and 2. We will have individual, interval starts based on categories (Elite, then Advanced, then Sport). Bomb down Road to Hell for Stage 1, then recover as you make your way up the hydro cut back to the top. Then fly down Hill Top for Stage 3, and recover with a climb back up the Adventure Trail. Stage 3 starts where Upper 2 K turns left off the Adventure Trail. From there, speed into Conveyor Belt and all the way back down to Trowbridge on Conveyor Belt. The finish line for stage 3, and the end of the event, is where Conveyor Belt meets Yellow Trail at Trowbridge. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of volunteers at the start and finish lines of each stage to direct you and answer your questions.
Given all the math we will have to do to figure out final results, there will be no awards on Wednesday. We will have draw prizes only, then have the podium at our next event. Keep an eye out for when we post results! This is going to be a fun event, so come ready to rip!
Until then, Happy Trails!
