About Your Coach

Hi, I’m Cat.  I started Shred Like a Girl as a side gig, when there was a lack of instructed learning opportunities for riders in Thunder Bay.  My goal as an instructor is to meet riders where they are at, helping every rider to gain confidence in their riding ability and feel belonging within the community.  This typically consists of both skill instruction, as well as guidance on how to break down mental barriers that may keep riders from furthering their skills, as well as lots and lots of practice and repetition.  You will never hear the words “Just send it!”. Instruction is set up so that riders can scaffold new skills while honing existing skills, working through a progression of more challenging features.  Lots of open discussion about risk, self preservation, body positioning and mental barriers.  Find community and encouragement within a supportive group, ready to celebrate every success big or small along the way.

Cancellation Policy

Participants may cancel for full refund up to a week before the event. With less than 1 weeks notice, participant may choose to find someone to fill their spot or a waitlist will be accessed to fill their spot.  If the spot is filled, a refund would be available. If the clinic is cancelled by Blacksheep due to insufficient registration or weather conditions, participants will receive a full refund.
