We are less than a week away from our annual “Race for the CHEESE”
What’s that ?!? you may ask….
Race for the Cheese is a fun event that we started many years ago and is still going strong!
Here is the low-down:
- This is a fun event for everyone. We keep it low-key and just have fun on our bikes.
- It is on Wed. June 29 at Kinsmen Park. Check in 5:45-6:45 and start at 7:00
- It is a RELAY!
- You MUST register ONLINE by Tuesday 28 before midnight

- 3 people on a team. We make up the teams.
- You are encouraged to WEAR A COSTUME.
- Prizes for the best and worst costume!
- It is NOT TIMED, and it is NOT part of the Series Standings.
- We will still have a podium of course
- You do need to bring your number plate
- The course will be all in the Kinsmen Park field and the laps are short (about 1km)
- You will do a lap, then tag one of your partners. Everyone will do 2-4 laps each.
- There is going to be ice cream for everyone!
So what’s up with the Cheese, you ask???
That’s the most important part! Everyone that participates must bring a CHEESY prize with them. You can bring something ridiculous from your basement – you know – something you would put in a garage sale… Something with not much actual monetary value… Or you can bring a bag of Cheezies, or whatever you want. Everyone will come with a prize and everyone will leave with a prize!
