We’ve had a heck of a 2021 racing season and we want to celebrate that! So on Sunday October 17th from 4:00 – 6:30PM all club members are welcome to join us for a celebration of a remarkable year of mountain biking. We will be presenting our special annual awards as well as the race series overall trophies and of course some great door prizes (including a Garmin Edge bundle!)
The venue is CharKuu 102. It is a beautiful barn-style venue on Kuusisto Road, just off Dawson. There are only 3 walls, and no additional heat, so make sure to dress appropriately. This is part of the reason we are hosting in the afternoon, so we can enjoy the fall colours and be outside. 1. You will need to show proof of vaccination for anyone over the age of 12. There are medical exemptions. according to the health unit “Patrons with a medical exemption are required to present identification and a written document stating the individual is exempt for a medical reason to the business or organization”
3. Masks are mandatory in the building except for those eating or drinking.
We will get things going with awards and presentations around 4:30, and then have an early dinner around 5:30 so we can head home before it gets to chilly. It is about a 15 minute drive past Country Fair, so make sure you allow enough time.The meal is being made by our friends at Roots to Harvest. Chili (beef or veg), biscuit, dessert and a beverage.Tickets are $15.00/person with a max of $60 per family (immediate).
