GENERAL INFO:
No rest for the wicked! After a smashing start to the season this Wednesday, we are straight in to XC#2 on July 14. And we have a fresh new course for everyone to enjoy! Starting off with some fast Centennial double-track and moving over to Shuniah for some of our favourites. It’s a “one-big-loop” style race for all categories.
We know that there was a lot of passing last Wednesday and the Race Committee is always working to try to mitigate this. We will be discussing it at the XC#2 race meeting.
COVID UPDATE:
MASKS MUST BE WORN at all times, by all participants and parents/spectators unless you are riding their bike. So it goes on once you arrive, and stays on while in the field before and after the race. We know this is not fun, but maintaining 3m distancing in the field is impossible, so in order to keep our events running we must implement this measure. Those not wearing a mask will be asked to leave the event.

Registration is NOW LIVE on webscorer.com. Registration closes on Tuesday 13th at midnight.

SCHEDULE:
5:45-6:45 – Plate pick up (if needed) and racer check-in. You are required to check-in even if you have a number plate already. (all at Kinsmen Park – in the lower field)
6:20 – Optional Lambateur PreRide
6:50 – Mandatory race briefing – all riders
7:00 – START: We will start in our usual order (Elite>Advanced>Sport>Lambateur)
OTHER:
We need a few volunteers to make this event happen. A couple course marshalls and a couple at the start/finish area. Please email racing@blacksheepmtb.com if you can help, or let us know at the registration desk on race day.
