Right now is an exciting time to be part of Blacksheep. We have some major trail development projects on the horizon! In 2021 we will be pushing for 400+ members! We plan to make the 6th Annual Forty Miner the biggest event the Club has ever held! And we are hopeful that in 2021 we can return to some semblance of normalcy, bringing back our festivals, trail school, rider/racer clinics, social events and full-size Wednesday night races!
A big part of the AGM will be choosing our Board of Directors for the 2021 season. Would you like to get more involved? Do you know someone who would be great for one of the positions? Send your nominations to us at secretary@blacksheepmtb.com by midnight on October 27. Our positions are: President, VP, Treasurer, Secretary and 6 Directors, including Trail Development Committee Chair and Communications Director. All positions are 1-year terms and open for nominations. Voting will be conducted virtually and completely anonymously during the AGM.
Blacksheep is always looking for people who want to get involved at any level. From helping out at our events to participating in one of our committees: Trail Development, Race, Rider Development, and Forty Miner. Make one of our board members aware of your interest and make your voice heard!
So whether you want to put your name forward for the board, help out on a committee, or simply learn more about what’s going on with the Club, join us at the AGM on October 28th!
